Retired researcher (it falls under engineering, not chemical-relsted, however). Student obligations, extra work to make my school a better place and research work got me a degree and a burnout and almost an unaliving (not related to rc, just workaholism) as an extra gift. So currently unemployed and resolving issues with a help of a mental health professionals.

Didn’t turn out very well. Nowdays I’m trying to get my prision made of flesh and skull somehow functioning again. Still hope I will be able to return to uni and continue research under supervisor who won’t overwork me or yell at me on regular basis that I’m a failure (despite the fact that he had read my thesis just two days before deadline; his approach to publications he “coauthored” was similar if not worse).
But I know I will continue my studies in the field of arrificial intelligence and advanced mathematics or computer graphics, since cryptography seems impossible nowdays, given my physical and mental health issues.
